FAQ
Is there an official TikTok MCP server?
Yes. TikTok for Business runs an official MCP server, but it covers the TikTok Ads (marketing) API only. It can't post videos or read general TikTok content.
Can an MCP server post videos to TikTok?
Not the official one. Community tools such as Taisly and TryPost can publish to TikTok through their own services after you connect your account.
Is it allowed to scrape TikTok with an MCP server?
Scraping TikTok without permission may violate TikTok's Terms of Service. Tools that scrape carry that risk; check the terms before using them.
How do I check if a TikTok MCP server is working?
